4th of July and Rob's Birthday

We had a busy weekend on the 4th. For such a small town as Dutch John, there were a lot of activities planned in the area. On the 3rd, we went over to the Flaming Gorge Resort for a car show, petting zoo and barbecue. It was fun and Rob had a good time. Then later that night, there was an outdoor free concert and corn off the grill, yum!!! Our house is located right across from where the fireworks were let off, that they almost seemed too close. It was great!





On the 4th, there was more corn on the grill at the gas station on the corner. We also checked out the action at Sunny Cove and just played a little in the water. Rob got wet enough we had to take off his shirt.

There were ducks beside the gas station too.

On Rob's big day, my parents, sister Chris, and her kids came over to help us celebrate. It was great - we had some neighborhood friends come too. We barbecued and then had cake. The kids then got wet in one of Rob's water toys.
