We just got back from a weekend in Salt Lake City. We were there on Thursday the 18th to close on the sale of our house. Yep, we got a full offer and after some negotiations closed earlier than expected. We couldn't be happier about getting our house sold. We loved Salt Lake and now we love living in Dutch John. It's so quiet and we have the most wonderful sunsets right out our back porch.
A week before we really enjoyed having my parents visit for a few days. It rained the first two days but they said they really enjoyed just hanging out with me and Rob. I drove them around a little and showed my dad the good fishing holes he'll have to come back and visit. The last day they were here it was a nice sunny day. Carson gave my parents a tour of the dam and then we drove over to the Red Canyon overlook and saw the beautiful Green River. I hadn't been to the overlook yet so it was a new experience for us all.

I found your blog. I am so happy to hear that you love living here. Trust me it will only get better and yes, you will get used to having to go to Vernal or Rock Springs for everything. Somedays I look forward to the drive because it is so beautiful. Plus we are in the works of getting more activities going so none of us are bored - especially during the winter!!
