The good news is we are not moving to Vernal, Utah. The not so good news is that we are moving to Dutch John, Utah. Does anyone know where that is? It's about an hour north of Vernal, Utah or about an hour south of Rock Springs, WY. I'm sure you've heard of Flaming Gorge. Carson will be working at the Flaming Gorge Dam as a plant mechanic. The itty bitty town of Dutch John was established for the government workers when they were building the dam. We'll be living in government housing for $500/month, not bad huh?!Here's a picture of Dutch John.
So we've been trying to sell our house now for a week. We've had lots of showings but no offers yet. Know anyone who wants to move to Salt Lake and is looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a great neighborhood? We'll leave it listed for a few months after we move and then we might rent it out. Did I tell you we are moving Labor Day Weekend? Ya, that soon.Well, Rob got the chicken pox from his 1 year immunizations. They bothered me more than him. He also grabbed a light bulb and had a pretty bad burn on one finger. He's been busy getting into everything.
